NZ Leather Craft is a one-person leathercraft workshop operated by Ross Willetts in the Waikato, New Zealand ("we", "us"). These terms apply to orders placed through this website and to custom work agreed by email.
Every piece is made when ordered. An order placed through the site is a request; it's confirmed once we reply with a final price, lead time and payment details. Payment is by bank transfer or cash on pickup; no card payments are taken on this site. Prices are in New Zealand dollars, and prices shown on the site are indicative for custom work; the quoted price is the binding one. Custom pieces may require a deposit before work starts; this will be stated in your quote. Deposits on custom work are non-refundable once materials are cut.
Custom pieces are built to the spec agreed in writing (sizing, tooling, hardware). Check the spec carefully: it's what gets made. Leather is a natural material: variation in grain, colour and markings between pieces isn't a defect; it's the point. We won't reproduce trademarked or copyrighted artwork without evidence you have the right to use it, and we reserve the right to decline designs we're not comfortable making.
Lead times are honest estimates from a workshop that runs after hours around a full-time job. If your piece is going to run late, you'll hear about it before the due date, not after.

Sheaths, pouches and carry gear are supplied for lawful use. You're responsible for complying with any laws that apply to what you carry in them and where you carry it.
Photos, designs and text on this site belong to NZ Leather Craft. By all means share them with credit; don't pass them off as your own. Contact details submitted through forms are handled as set out in our Privacy & Safety Policy below.
